John Andrew “Drew” Tanner, Jr., a Douglas native and first in his family to pursue a legal career, embodies the values of hard work and community service, instilled from his upbringing on a farm and by his military family. Drew excelled academically and athletically, graduating from Coffee High School and earning a Bachelor of Science in oceanography from the United States Naval Academy, where he was also a celebrated baseball player. His military career included serving as a Naval Aviator and instructor, involving collaborations with international navies. After eight years in the Navy, Drew transitioned to law, joining Farrar, Hennesy & Tanner in 1997. Beyond law, Drew is involved in entrepreneurial ventures like The General’s Hot Sauce, which supports veterans and their families, and actively participates in community and church activities alongside his wife, Regan, and their family.
